How is it like being single finally after jumping from one relationship to another?
You find yourself all alone, after being in relationships one after another. After years of always having someone there, yes, it is quite a bit to get used to.
You will find that you no longer have anyone to send good morning messages to, no one to think of when you open your eyes in the morning, no special messages to look forward to receiving.
Your phone becomes something cold uninviting, you don’t want to look at the notifications because they are nothing you look forward to.
And then after the heartaches subside, you start to embrace the perks of singlehood, explore the newfound freedom. Not having to report to anybody, what’re your plans for the day, who are you meeting for lunch, what time are you going home?
You will start to bond with people, meet many more new people, some who will become your new confidant, some who will let you realize why your past relationships failed, some who are celebrating their newfound freedom just like you, and some who will be there to stay.
